What is it?[edit]
'Tronozymol is a commercial nutrient sold by Ritchie Products to aid the yeast fermentation of wine making in the UK.
This material can be used to boost levels of CO2 production when using DIY CO2 making kits for growing underwater plants.
What is in it?[edit]
A mixture of minerals, salts and vitamins that yeast need to ensure fast growth and long lasting CO2 production.
Typical ingredients listed by Ritchie:
- Diammonium Phosphate (DAP)
- Monopotassium Phosphate
- Magnesium Sulphate
- Nicotinamide (vitamin B3 / niacin)
- Aneurine Hydrochloric (thiamine)
- Trace minerals
- Trace vitamins
Amount to use[edit]
- 1g typically treats 2 litres of sugar enriched water.
