High fast flowing streams in the Mekong and Chao Phraya basins, Malay Peninsula and Indonesia.

Environment specifics[edit | edit source]

This fish thrives in a fast-flowing river biotope set up, with a strong current, high oxygenation and rounded river rocks. Planting is not necessary for this fish.
