The Scottish Federation was formed on the 18th of May 1958 at the Queens Htel Perth, 25 aquarists representing clubs from all over Scotland met under the Chairmanship of Mr. Vasey the Perth club President, and after a short humorous discussion in which all were asked their views, it was unanimously agreed to form "The Federation of Scottish Aquarist Societies". Now the Federation consists of Aquarist Societies from Grangemouth, Greenock, Perth, Mussleburgh, Linlithgow, Edinburgh, Glenrothes, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, and Workington in Cumbria.
