Also known as Riboflavin. Aids the digestion of protein. Also aids the build up of muscle tissue & protects the mucus membrane.

What it Does[edit]

Vitamin B2 ensures good vision, protein metabolism and enzyme functioning to give good growth and energy.

Symptoms of Deficiency[edit]

Cloudy eyes, poor vision, sensitivity to light, dark pigment, poor appetite and slow growth.

Prevention[edit]

Feed your animal at least three different types of food. This will ensure it gets adequate supply of this vitamin.

  • Don't use old food. Vitamins decay very rapidly once exposed to the air, heat or being frozen. Try to feed food that is no more than 6 months old.
