- Found in dark forest streams in Thailand and Laos to Indonesia.
Tank compatibility[edit]
- A peaceful fish that will easily cohabit with equally peaceful fish that prefer the same environment such as Garra flavatra or Devario aequipinnatus. They can squabble with their fish of similar shape however. May eat small shrimp. They are their most confident when kept in groups of 6 or more of their own kind.
