- A plant that requires bright light and frequent fertilization. They are the easiest Cabomba species to grow. Easily propagated through stem cuttings. C. caroliniana prefers a slightly acidic to neutral pH.
Identification[edit]
- C. caroliniana have needle like leaves that are finely divided and arranged in pairs on the stem. The floating leaves, when present, are linear and inconspicuous, with an alternate arrangement. They are less than 1/2 inch long and narrow (less than 1/4 inch). There flowers are white and small and float on the surface.
