Sexing[edit]
- The males upper 1/3 of their body and back is red the rest of their body is yellow, while the females body is entirely pinkish red.
Identification[edit]
- A very attractive fish, the females are a vivid scarlet to deep pink with some yellow on the snout and belly, males have a yellow head, belly and flanks, and their back and caudal fin are pinkish red.
