- Feeds on invertebrates and small fish.
Behaviour[edit]
- A primarily bottom dwelling fish.
Species Note[edit]
- This fish is listed on the ICUN Red List[1] as endangered in the wild and therefore is unlikely to be available to the pet trade. As with many Sturgeons, this species' eggs are suitable for caviar which may have contributed to their decline in the wild.
