Talk:Caridina cf. cantonensis
Oddly all of the images on this page are of poorer quality. Either a watermark or hazy. The only ones that really help understanding of the material is the thumbnails on the right. Searching Flickr for Crystal Red Shrimp yields a color varient which is more white then red. Can anyone positively identify those picutres as this species?
I would also like to suggest we no longer accept images with copyright watermarks, as we certinally have a decent sized database and I feel we can afford to require a higher standard. --Brian 19:23, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
I think they're poor quality because the author has re-compressed several times the original jpeg image. These are for illustrating on his web page.
We can do better. All we have to do is contact one of the German web sites and ask nicely.
