Hi Cat, did you manage to get these from a shop or did you have to get them imported? I can only seem to find the normal guppies and I wanted a few of these too (in a different tank to avoid hybridisation).
i got all mine straight from breeders! if you're in the UK i can point you in the right directions, or go to endlers r us (uk or us edition) and ask on there, there are plenty of breeders about willing to offload fry! --Cat 07:02, 25 March 2008 (CDT)
As they are a live bearer and similar to guppies anyway, do you think that they would browse off blanched veg like the others? I think its supposed to be quite important in their diet? If you could try them with something and let me know that would be great, as much just out of interest as for the article! (Adam2307 13:17, 29 March 2008 (CDT))
These fish are very commonly sold on eBay.

the breeder i bought my first lot from warned me of some of the sellers on ebay. they steal her photos and sell bad stock, or guppy crosses. it would be easier to buy from breeders on ERU-UK (endlers r us UK) they'll nibble at algae and blanched vegetables, but don't seem to actively seek it out. --Cat 12:26, 30 March 2008 (CDT)
